Hi!

I’m Dr. Casey Matthews

I grew up a very active child. I played sports year round and was never “unhealthy.” I played collegiate volleyball and I’m not going to lie, I looked GOOD in my early 20’s.

However, after completing graduate school with my Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy, the weight started to gradually add on.

I did what I always did in the past, working out at least 6 days a week and trying to stay mindful of what I ate, but on the outside, it didn’t look like it.

I started going on food binges, eating everything in sight.

That would trigger a cycle of skipping meals during the week to “make up” for all the food I ate on the weekends. I gained even more weight after having my daughters, putting on 60+ pounds with my first and 40 pounds with my second. I tried to work out even more and eat even less in response which of course led to even more weight gain. UGH.

I was frustrated, disappointed, demoralized, and embarrassed.

I was constantly giving health advice to my patients as their trusted physical therapist, yet I couldn’t get healthy myself.

I wanted to look different. To get rid of the muffin top and feel better about what I saw in the mirror, but really, I desperately wanted to feel like myself again.

We met in Graduate school and I had heard she was a health and fitness coach. After stalking her for longer than I care to admit, I finally reached out. We hit it off immediately (again) so I hired her team.

I lost over 10% of my body weight and actually looked as fit as I felt.

And I did it all by eating more, working out less, thriving in a hectic healthcare career, raising two kids and enjoying life with my husband.

I did not think that would be possible!

My whole outlook on how to lose weight sustainably changed and the transformation felt amazing.

I was so mesmerized by the change that I became a Certified Nutrition Coach and a Certified Personal Trainer to deepen my education and share it with others. It’s been a joy to partner with Hannah as part of the Physique Triage team, and I’m honored to continually help women lose weight, look lean, feel strong, and find their confidence again. There truly isn’t anything better!
